Parts of an experimental/alternative photography series for my senior project
This series was inspired by Kate-Miller Wilson's and Kay Nowicki's work on static photography, and Hiroshi Sugimoto's Lightning Fields series; although, it turned out much different than intended. The Van de Graff and/or Wimshurst machines needed for static photography were out of my price range, confining me to a small Vipertek taser, and I was working directly on photo paper as opposed to film. I'd still like to cheaply experiment with creating the Lichtenberg scarring I intended, but in the process I did manage to find an interesting way of burning liquid images as shown here
